123 passengers are stuck on a plane at Munich Airport for one night


123 passengers had to spend a night on the plane at Munich Airport. The bus staff that could have taken them back to the terminal was already off work.

On Thursday evening (February 19th), the flight to Copenhagen scheduled for 9:30 p.m. was canceled due to heavy snowfall deleted. The passengers were already on board at this point Lufthansa plane. The crew explained about every 30 minutes that they were trying to organize buses.

Munich airport closed – occupants must remain on board

At around 2 a.m. the news came that there were no more bus drivers on site and the airport was closed. The guests and staff were not allowed to leave the plane. According to the magazine “One Mile at a Time” They then had to spend the night on the plane. Blankets and pillows were not available in the small machine, and there was also very limited food and drinks.

Early in the morning the passengers were finally driven back to the terminal and rebooked on other flights to Copenhagen.
