Höhner’s son had cerebral fluid running out of his nose after tumor surgery

Konstantin Streifling actually feels quite comfortable again. He has overcome his brain tumor. He believed. But then came the shock, as he revealed as a guest on the WDR talk “Kölner Treff”.

Konstantin Streifling is happy about the future. The son of ex-Höhner multi-instrumentalist Jens Streifling was at one in 2023 Brain tumor sick. He was successfully treated, but last year he reported again. Konstantin Streifling has now married. He met his wife Jessica (32) on a Netflix show. “It was amazing what Jessi did for me,” beamed the 36-year-old on Friday evening in the WDR talk show “Kölner Treff”.

“Of course the time wasn’t easy,” says Streifling. He and his Jessica had only known each other for two months when he found out: the tumor had to be treated again. Otherwise Streifling could have died. Today he knows: “During this time, we created a kind of basic basis that we have mastered this too.”

“I thought I had a cold. And then we had another little emergency operation”

But Konstantin Streifling is still not completely healthy. He recently realized this. “That was four weeks ago,” says his wife Jessica. “The cerebral fluid ran through the nose.” Konstantin Streifling adds: “I had a leak from the operation that was last December. And brain fluid kept running out of my nose. I thought I had a cold. And then we had another little emergency operation.”

Konstantin Streifling thanked his Jessica in his own way for her help. He has always had a dream: a life on Mallorca, he says. “But then I met Jessi. And you don’t want to have a long-distance marriage. So I moved to her in Swabia.”

“And I think he’s doing well there,” says Jessica Streifling. There’s just one thing he hasn’t accomplished yet: “He hasn’t become frugal yet,” says Jessica. At least he takes her to football. Of course to 1. FC Cologne. Because Konstantin Streifling has a very special relationship with the “billy goats”: father Jens wrote the club anthem.
