David Schumacher married his girlfriend Vivien. His mother, Cora Schumacher, was not among the guests, which made her “incredibly sad.”
Cora and David have had a broken relationship for a long time. Apparently the former jungle camper only found out about her son’s marriage through the media.
“I wish my son nothing but the best. It has always been that way and will always be that way. I am always there for him and will always love him more than anything. I want him to enjoy the most beautiful day of his life to the fullest and I really hope that he is happy,” she explains to “Picture“.
Cora Schumacher “incredibly sad” that she wasn’t there
But that she is not with the Wedding of her son David Schumacher Cora was obviously also bothered by it: “As a mom, I’m not angry with my son, I’m just incredibly sad that things are the way they are. That’s all I can say about it.”

Cora Schumacher shares cryptic post
While son David Schumacher is getting married in a small circle in Salzburg, his mother Cora is reporting from the other side of the world, from Wichita Falls, Texas (USA). In her Instagram story she posts a verse from the Bible, more specifically from the Old Testament in the book of Isaiah.
The chosen passage encourages trust in God’s assistance.
Translated into German, the words include:
Everything happens for a reason.
You will wait.
You will cry.
You’ll feel like you want to give up…but you’ll wait again.
You will find hope and then experience disappointment.
Trials will come. The burden of waiting will feel heavy, but God will give you the strength to move forward.
And in the end… on one beautiful day everything will fall into place.

Cora Schumacher in a new relationship
At the beginning of January 2026 Cora Schumacher announces that she has a new partner. She posted a photo on Instagram with a man and wrote personal lines: “He gives me peace, he gives me hope, he makes me believe again (…) He is solid, stable – and really one of the good ones.”
She is currently back in Texas, her boyfriend’s hometown, Steven Bo Bekendamon.
