The 19th season of “Let’s Dance” started on Friday (February 27th). FOCUS online was there live on site in Cologne and reveals what viewers didn’t see on television.
At 7:50 p.m. on February 27th, around 900 people will sing “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston in the MMC Studios in Cologne. While episode 8470 of “Good Times, Bad Times” is currently flickering across the screen on RTL, “Let’s Dance“The warm-up is already in full swing. The audience is clapping, waving their arms, rehearsing enthusiasm. When the show goes live at 8:15 p.m., the mood should ultimately be right – awake, loud and ready to dance.
Danger of tripping at Victoria Swarovski
The eye-catcher of the evening is undoubtedly Victoria Swarovski (32), who enters the stage in a black lace dress. What TV viewers don’t see is that production employees are always standing around them during breaks to hold the long train. Finally, the presenter has to overcome a large step to enter the dance floor.
Another detail that is hidden from viewers on their TV screen at home also causes astonishment. Even before the live show officially begins, Victoria Swarovski walks through the studio with a striking blue blanket over her head and shoulders.

Daniel Hartwich whispers something into the ears of the “Let’s Dance” stars
Before the group dances begin, viewers at home see clips of the candidates who then perform. Meanwhile, presenter Daniel Hartwich (47) sneaks back onto the dance floor with the dancers and whispers something in their ears. What? This also remains a secret for the spectators on site.
