As a member of the Bundestag, Özdemir agreed to this, said Throm: “His speeches before elections and his previous actions are miles apart.” And further: “Cem Özdemir is the master of camouflage and deceiving voters.”
In this context, Throm is also critical of Özdemir’s attacks against the AfD in Baden-Württemberg: “It is precisely this borderless migration policy of the Greens that led to the AfD’s strengthening and thus to the endangerment of our democracy.” The Greens are in one Opinion poll In the Baden-Württemberg state elections, the party recently moved within one point of the CDU.
