In the midst of the escalating conflict between the USA, Israel and Iran, a first lady chaired a meeting of the United Nations Security Council for the first time. The debate was entitled “Children, technology and education in conflict”.
The appearance was made possible because the USA holds the rotating chairmanship of the United Nations Security Council in March – ambassadors or government representatives usually lead the meetings there.
