SPD loses – Union still just ahead of AfD


At the start of the 2026 election year with the state elections in Baden-Württemberg this Sunday, the Union is further ahead of the AfD in terms of voters nationwide.

In the new Sunday trend, which the opinion research institute INSA collects weekly for BILD am SONNTAG, the CDU/CSU once again achieved 26 percent, the AfD reached 25 percent, as in the previous week.

The SPD loses one point and is only at 15 percent. Compared to the previous week, the left can increase by one percentage point each to 11 percent and the FDP to 4 percent. The values ​​​​of the Greens (11 percent) and BSW (3 percent) remain unchanged. Other parties would vote 5 percent (minus 1).
