Eva Habermann, who is currently causing a stir with new “Playboy” photos, remembers an incident from the 1990s that shocked her deeply and confronted her with the usual power structures on the film set at the time.
“A director came up to me while we were filming and said that I should have sexual fun with the main actor because he couldn’t act anymore,” remembers Eva Habermann to “Picture“.
Habermann on abuse of power on the film set
At the time, Habermann defended himself against the unacceptable demand: “I replied, he can’t do that anyway – and I had to let the director bully me for the rest of the filming.” She doesn’t mention the director’s name: “It doesn’t matter who the director was. I could give a number of similar examples.”
The actress attributes her self-confidence back then to her mother: “I grew up with a very self-confident mother who taught my sister and me early on that no one has control over our bodies or our decisions.” Today she can assert herself with confidence: “Nothing like that happens to me anymore. I’m 50 and I think age is great.”

Eva Habermann: “Today I am much more than I ever was before”
In addition to these memories, she also looks forward. With their current ones Eva Habermann is not only celebrating her 50th birthday with “Playboy” photosbut also a new phase of life. She’s working on acting projects, recently released a song and written a book – her next goal is a role in an English-language film.
Of course, critical voices were not long in coming. Anyone who publishes a book and then allows themselves to be photographed naked is quickly denied intelligence, says the Hamburg resident.
But Habermann doesn’t let that deter him: “You can be anything you want at the same time. I’m also many other things – filmmaker, producer, author, singer, coach and of course still an actress. Today I’m much more than I ever was before.”
