The former Federal Minister of Economics and Vice Chancellor is scheduled to read from Sergei Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” on May 31st.
The chamber orchestra Unter den Linden has Robert Habeck as a speaker for a performance of Sergei Prokofiev’s musical fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf” in the Berlin Philharmonic, as the orchestra announced. The “BZ” first reported.

At his side are the chamber orchestra itself and the Philharmonic Rassel Band, which is responsible for the musical part. The performance in the Great Hall of the renowned concert hall will be led by conductor Andreas Peer Kähler, who studied conducting and composition at the Berlin University of the Arts.
Kähler told the “BZ” that he could Habeck in dealing with children – that’s why he was asked and the ex-politician immediately agreed. The performance is for Habeck not a completely new experience in the cultural sector: Before his political career, he wrote several children’s books together with his wife, the writer Andrea Paluch. However, the step onto the concert stage is his first public appearance of this kind since the end of the traffic light coalition.
