Giovanni Zarella plays it safe. Right at the beginning of his ZDF show, the presenter warns his viewers about the Kiss cam – to avoid a Coldplay scandal.
The first “Giovanni Zarrella show” of the year is all about love. Under the motto “An evening for love”, the pop star presents the big feelings together with numerous well-known musicians.

“Where there is love, the kiss cam is not far away. That’s why: If you’re still sitting with someone you don’t want to be seen with, you still have 5 seconds to correct that.” This little warning causes laughter and applause from the fans in the studio.
A short time later the kiss cam is put into operation. “Is our kiss cam already on the way?” said the pop star. “Are you a couple?” Giovanni Zarrella asks again. The two say yes and they’re smooching on the “Giovanni Zarrella Show”.
