On Saturday evening (March 14th) the RTL show “Who knows how when what was?” started. with Barbara Schöneberger and Stefan Raab. But the TV premiere was not well received by viewers.
“I think Raab’s TV time is over,” is the verdict of one X user – and he’s not alone in that. Viewers vent their frustration on the platform. “Unfortunately, Raab doesn’t realize that he has long since passed his peak” or “So far it reminds me a lot of the TV garden. Zero concept,” write other users and heatedly discuss the new show Stefan Raab.
Fans annoyed: Schöneberger and Raab sing in quiz show
The audience is particularly bothered by the singing at the beginning of the show, which is actually designed as a quiz show. “Oh, singing didn’t have to happen now,” writes an annoyed viewer. Another asks himself: “Raab and Schöneberger for three seconds as imitations of the singers of the time – err… Is that supposed to be funny now?”
RTL audiences are skeptical about Stefan Raab’s show
The criticism does not come as a surprise. Since his comeback in September 2024, Stefan Raab has been trying to re-establish himself with various TV formats. The first format after his return, “You won’t win millions here with Stefan Raab”, was discontinued after just a few months. Even before the first broadcast of the new Saturday evening show with Barbara Schöneberger Fans online therefore expressed harsh criticism of Stefan Raab.

Challenging TV weekend for Stefan Raab
On Friday evening (March 13th) Stefan Raab surprised the viewers of the second live show of “Let’s Dance” with a spontaneous performance. Right at the beginning he joked about one of the candidates: “I know roughly how well I dance, namely very badly. But after seeing Simon Gosejohann today, I felt a lot of comfort.”
