Ulreich could no longer take goal kicks

The 37-year-old stood between the posts for the entire distance at the BayArena, but appeared injured in the final phase. Ulreich was unable to take his goal kicks himself several times, but gritted his teeth and brought the game to an end.

After the final whistle, the veteran confirmed that he had experienced problems during the game. “I felt a little something in my thigh. I hope nothing bad,” said Ulreich on DAZN.
