Ralf Schumacher reprimands Verstappen: “Max has to stop whining”

Sky expert Ralf Schumacher puts it straight: “Max has proven that he is the fastest driver. But now he has to help his team, which is having problems. And Max has to stop complaining. That he then just wants to drive in a different racing series. You can do that, but you don’t have to.”

Discussions are already underway with FIA and Formula 1 officials about possible adjustments. “I don’t really want to leave,” says the Red Bull driver, but: “I wish I had a little more fun.”

Verstappen spoke about Le Mans

That’s why the three-time world champion is also looking for new challenges outside of Formula 1. “I can drive on the Nordschleife,” says Verstappen. “And hopefully I can also drive at Spa or maybe Le Mans in the coming years.”

Schumacher has no understanding of Verstappen’s statements. He advises adapting to the new circumstances: “These new rules were decided four years ago. Back then, everyone only wanted electric, you shouldn’t forget that. Many teams have invested an incredible amount of money here.”
