At his side was Barbara Schöneberger, who was not above numerous singing and dancing interludes, clips, jokes and nonsense with dental prostheses and who felt headwind through an Instagram posting in the run-up to the show.

Stefan Raab takes aim at “The Lions’ Den” investors

Some things in the two-and-a-half-hour-long show were certainly amusing, others were rude – but a “gag” was likely to cause unrest in the RTL cosmos: Barbara Schöneberger already wanted to answer a question from the “TV moments” category Stefan Raab, who recently struggled with poor ratingslooking at the cardboard cutouts of “The Lion’s Den” investors know: “As a reserved but generous billionaire, why aren’t you included in this group?” – Raab answered with a laugh: “There are four reasons: Carsten Maschmeyer, Dagmar Wöhrl, Ralf Dümmel and Judith Williams. Actually there are five: Frank Thelen too.”

But the actual question to the over-60 audience and the representative celebrity couple Ingolf Lück and Christine Neubauer was aimed at something else: Raab and Schöneberger wanted to know which of the investors from the VOX show was part of the 70s dirty film “The Shock Castle – When the chastity belts rattle at night”. Lück and Neubauer – like 54 percent of “their” audience – guessed Dagmar Wöhrl. After all, she was also Miss Germany, explained Lück. “You said you saw the film,” Neubauer interrupted him.

Now the question could probably have been solved simply: Yes, it was Dagmar Wöhrl, who was still going by the stage name Sandra Monte at the time. The rest would have been a Google search away for anyone interested in voyeurism. But Raab is Raab, and so the scene showed a naked and – bars or not – exposed Wöhrl.

The reactions? Christine Neubauer held her hands over her mouth in shock, Ingolf Lück, embarrassed, tried humor: “I wouldn’t have recognized Maschmeyer with the veil.”
