A man is on the A45 between the Gumbacher Kreuz and Münzenberg Motorhome caught and thrown through the air. The 49-year-old was walking on the highway that night after his car broke down, a police spokesman said. A motorhome driver only saw him in the dark at the last moment and, despite an evasive maneuver, caught him with his outside mirror.

It is not yet clear how seriously the 49-year-old is injured. According to the police, he was approachable on site. He was taken to a hospital. It was still unclear why the man decided to walk across the highway after his breakdown.
