In “The Protector – Knowledge That Kills,” a business family is targeted by foreign secret services after the family father’s brother is killed because of explosive company data. The family then comes under the protection of bodyguard Jan Schäfer, who is supposed to secure them in their house and protect them from further attacks.
Schäfer and his colleague Ika Freuding not only have to protect the scientist himself, but also his wife Hanna (Perdelwitz) and their son Marian. At the same time, they must prevent the important findings, which could have enormous implications for the global economy and international politics, from falling into the wrong hands. But the threat quickly becomes concrete – armed attackers soon appear in front of the family’s house…
