But Palmer, head of the town hall in Tübingen for almost 20 years, presented the matter before the broadcast. He sees a need for action in finance, the economy and education. “Everything that has made this country great and strong is in danger.” This is what he said in an interview with the “Südwest Presse”. And: “If I can make a contribution, I’m happy to do so.” The Green Youth sees it completely differently. One wonders “whether this is ultimately green politics”. Palmer has just married his friend Cem Özdemir in his role as mayor of Tübingen.
