Daughter keeps her distance: Eugenie doesn’t want Sarah Ferguson to live with her

The Epstein scandal surrounding Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson is spreading further: According to the report, Eugenie and Beatrice are also feeling the consequences – professionally, family-wise and in their marriages.

The scandal surrounding Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (66) and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who is now being talked about for reality TV(66) doesn’t stop – and has long since hit the next generation: Princess Eugenie (36) and her sister Beatrice (37) are coming under increasing pressure due to the ongoing revelations surrounding the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein (1953-2019). Like the British “Daily Mail“Reported, citing several insiders, the husbands of the two sisters are now also reacting with increasing distance.

Brooksbank fears professional consequences

Jack Brooksbank (39), Eugenie’s husband and owner of a consulting firm, is loyally at his wife’s side – but sets clear boundaries. According to consistent reports, the couple fears Ferguson might ask to move in with them temporarily. Both Eugenie and Brooksbank are said to have little interest in this idea – not out of indifference to the mother’s well-being, as an insider emphasized, but because they simply did not want to take on the responsibility.

According to a confidant to the Daily Mail, he will not completely abandon Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Ferguson, but he also does not want to put himself directly in the line of fire. His priority was Eugenie, whose finances Prince William wants to have checkedand their two children.

Jack Brooksbank is said to be particularly concerned about the possible reputational risk to his business. An insider told the newspaper that Brooksbank had worked hard on his company and under no circumstances wanted the Epstein shadow to fall on his business relationships. He will therefore do everything in his power to remain as inconspicuous as possible in public.

There is also another sensitive issue in Eugenie’s house:

Beatrice between loyalty and marriage

According to reports, things are anything but smooth for Beatrice too. The princess is said to have burst into tears at the increasingly dramatic revelations about her parents. While Eugenie has apparently turned her back on her father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Beatrice continues to stick by both parents – an attitude that those around her sometimes see as naive.

Her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi (42) is said to be primarily concerned with his own business interests. He is said to be increasingly worried that his real estate development and interior design company could be damaged by his connection to his in-laws. Nevertheless, Beatrice and Edoardo, who married in 2020 and have two daughters together, recently appeared outwardly carefree at a friend’s birthday party in a sushi bar in London’s Notting Hill district.

However, behind the facade there is supposed to be something simmering. According to an insider, there had been tension between Beatrice and Edoardo for some time. Now of all times, in one of the most difficult phases of her life, he is said to be increasingly busy with work and travel. Beatrice, on the other hand, wants to keep the family together.

“She feels very hurt and is beside herself on so many levels,” the newspaper quoted a person close to the couple as saying. As the pressure grows on the sisters to take a public stand, Eugenie and Beatrice are apparently fighting on several fronts at the same time: against the scandal surrounding their parents, their marriages – and their own good reputations.
