Days of fear after the outbreak of war: Verona Pooth is reunited with her son (14).


Verona Pooth’s 14-year-old son Rocco has been stuck in Dubai for the past few days due to the Middle East conflict. Now the entire family is reunited in Germany.

This ends a true odyssey for the family. When the war broke out in Iran, Verona’s youngest son Rocco was alone in Dubai – the Pooths’ new adopted home – together with Louisa, the girlfriend of the older Pooth offspring Diego. The desert city has also been under rocket fire since the beginning of the war Rocco and Louisa were stuck. Of course, a nightmare for Verona as a mother.

How “Picture” reports that Franjo, Rocco and Louisa arrived at the airport in Düsseldorf on Friday evening (March 6th). According to this, the three arrived on the last plane from Istanbul and were immediately greeted happily by Verona and Diego at the airport.

Franjo Pooth endured many hardships to get to his son. His journey took him via Istanbul, Cairo and Riyadh. Finally we went by car across the desert and finally in an armored car to Dubai. But the relief of finally being able to hug his son again was of course huge. “I’m finally with my little one and Louisa. What an odyssey. I’m tired, but happy. Everything is fine,” he explained after his arrival in Dubai.
