A previously unknown driver raced towards a city employee in Remscheid, who was injured and taken to the hospital – a murder squad is investigating.
In the middle of a conversation with two employees, the man suddenly got into his car on Monday and suddenly drove off at full speed, the police and public prosecutor said.
A 49-year-old employee was loaded onto the hood and thrown to the side. Rescue workers took the injured man to a hospital.
The two employees had previously filed an administrative offense report for the parked car. Then the driver came to the car.
The perpetrator races away at high speed
The 49-year-old stood in front of the car and tried to talk to the man. However, he did not respond to the speech. Instead, he got in and drove off. After the accident, he fled at high speed.
Police describe the fugitive as 30 to 35 years old. He had a dark beard and was wearing a white baseball cap at the time of the crime. A murder squad is investigating dangerous interference in traffic and physical attacks on law enforcement officers.
