After criticism of his statement about Christian Ulmen, Fahri Yardim speaks out again. He is self-critical and reflects on the allegations.
Fahri Yardim has been involved in the Christian Ulmen case since his first public statement in criticism. The “Jerks” actor is accused of not having positioned himself clearly enough. His text was “generic, cryptic and impersonal,” wrote fellow actor Steffen Groth. Other voices on social networks criticized the choice of words as “buzzword-heavy” and complained about a lack of clarity. It was sometimes assumed that the statement seemed more like a PR text than a personal attitude.
“This isn’t about your feelings. Just clearly distance yourself from your boyfriend, there’s no need for swearing,” demands one follower. Another comment reads: “That doesn’t sound like you at all. Who wrote this text? That Statement from Stuckrad-Barre conveyed his attitude so much better and therefore seemed much more believable.”
Yardim’s reaction: “The text is mental”
Yardim has now responded to the criticism himself: directly in the revised caption of his original post. In it he admits: “It’s true, the text is cerebral.”
His statement was made in an inner state of emergency: part of him had “desperately adopted crisis mode”. At the same time, he announced that he would speak out again – then more personally: “I’ll get back to you when I’ve found my heart again.”

Yardim’s original statement
In his first posting, Yardim emphasized that he had deliberately reacted with a delay. He was “just as shocked” as many others and expressed his “full solidarity” with Collien Fernandes.
At the same time, he self-critically explained his hesitation. Public statements have an impact and influence “which interpretations are given weight”. A quick positioning was not possible for him “without something essential being lost.”
There is also an accusation that he distributed AI-generated pornographic content that is similar to her. The allegations sparked widespread public debate.
Christian Ulmen’s lawyer comments
The magazine “Spiegel” gave Ulmen the opportunity to comment. His lawyers offered the journalists a background conversation. They therefore responded to some of the allegations. However, the conversation should not be reported.
In response to a BUNTE.de inquiry, Christian Ulmen’s lawyer announced on Thursday evening that “untrue facts are being spread based on a one-sided description.” Legal action should be taken. There was no further comment on the allegations.
So far there has been no further statement from him regarding the allegations. After Fernandes’ complaint, a preliminary investigation was initiated. So far it is unclear how the process will continue. Christian Ulmen is presumed innocent.
