Verona Pooth’s husband Franjo masters difficult flight connections to reach his son Rocco safely in Dubai. Verona regularly informs her followers on Instagram about the status of the trip.
Following attacks by Iran on US bases in the region, many airspaces are closed, significantly delaying the 56-year-old’s travel plans. Franjo was stuck at Istanbul airport for 18 hours after planned flights to Cairo and Dubai were canceled at short notice.
Planned route to Dubai failed: Franjo Pooth landed in Oman
A route is planned via Saudi Arabia, from where he would like to travel on to the United Arab Emirates.
Verona Pooth explained her previous plan exclusively to “Picture” like this: “He will fly via Istanbul and Cairo, then on to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. From there he will drive to the border of the United Arab Emirates, where a driver will take him safely to Dubai in an armored car.” Now, after long delays, Franjo Pooth has made it to Oman.
But the 14-year-old is not on his own in Dubai. He is accompanied by Louisa Büscher, the girlfriend of his older brother San Diego. Verona emphasizes how much she wants the family to be reunited soon: “I hope from the bottom of my heart that everything goes well and that Franjo can hug Roccolito and Louisa again in 24 hours at the latest. I don’t want anything more right now than for everyone to be healthy and safe together.”
