Increased food and personnel costs

Ice cream prices in Germany have risen mainly due to higher prices for milk and sugar, the main ingredients for ice cream. Ice cream parlor operators often have to deal with increased personnel costs. But higher rents, especially in inner cities, are also a factor. Increased energy prices also have an impact on the price of the ball, because ice cream has to be constantly cooled.
