Confirmation of investigations by authorities and management

Both the Vienna State Criminal Police Office and the Vienna Public Prosecutor’s Office should deal with the case, according to statements made by public prosecutor spokeswoman Nina Bussek to the “APA”. She confirmed a complaint and corresponding investigations, but pointed out that no public details about the allegations would be communicated because they were non-public investigations. Seiler and the alleged injured party are said to have already been questioned.

Seiler’s management also confirmed to the “APA” that investigations were taking place, but at the same time stated that they could not provide any further information about the specific allegations. In a written statement it was said that it was an evening in a private setting, “after which questions remain open that now need to be carefully clarified. We will of course be involved in this clarification.” The investigation must now be awaited. The presumption of innocence still applies to Christoph Seiler.

Together with Bernhard Speer, Seiler forms the duo Seiler and Speer, which has been one of the most successful acts in the Austrian music scene since its breakthrough with the hit “Ham kummst” in 2015. Other well-known songs such as “Ala bin”, “Herr Inspektor” and “Principessa” contributed significantly to the band’s success.
