Rose Mondy is the new “Miss Germany”. The streamer prevailed against, among others, entrepreneurs, a scientist and a Bundeswehr officer.
At the final of the competition in the Bavaria Studios near Munich, however, after the audience vote, a woman wins who has conquered a completely different male domain than the Bundeswehr: 26-year-old Rose Mondy is a streamer and can be seen on the “Twitch” platform, for example, “gaming” and playing video games such as “Minecraft” or “Fortnite”.

It is a profession in which men are predominantly located. But, as jury member and actress Collien Fernandes (44, “The Dream Ship”) says: Millions of women also gamble. Before her win, Mondy had already won in the “Female Mover” category for women in male-dominated industries.
The new “Miss Germany” has already been named Streamer of the Year
The jury called Mondy a “miracle bag”. A woman who gave those responsible for the final and the associated series “Road to Miss Germany” on Sixx and Joyn one or two gray hairs. But then at some point she came out of herself – and grew beyond herself.
In 2025, Mondy, who came to Germany at a young age as a child of Syrian parents and now has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, was already named Streamer of the Year. After the Corona crisis took a toll on her cosmetic studio, the young woman moved her work online.
She also uses her stream to talk very openly about her language problems and about the everyday racism that she experiences as a child of Syrian parents in Germany. So your election is more political than it seems at first glance. “I show that you don’t have to be perfect to be successful,” she tells the German Press Agency after her victory, which was celebrated emotionally and with tears in her eyes not only by her but also by her competitors and the production team.

Rose Mondy prevails against 2,600 women
A total of 2,600 women applied for the title of Miss Germany, as the organizer, the Miss Germany Studios, announced. Nine women made it to the final, where they competed against each other in three categories. Rose Mondy initially won in the “Female Mover” category, which honored women who assert themselves in male-dominated areas.
Among the top three who prevailed in the jury’s evaluation in their respective categories “Female Founder”, “Female Leader” and “Female Mover” were, in addition to the streamer, 36-year-old Anne Bäumler (36) from Assenheim in Hesse, who leads a team of more than 800 employees at a drugstore chain, and the 31-year-old biologist Amelie Reigl from Würzburg, who grows human skin in the laboratoryto reduce animal testing.
